McAllen- Silverio Peña Jr., 58, of McAllen, was called home by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Monday, December 9, 2013 at Comfort House in McAllen. He was born May 1, 1955 in Mercedes, TX, the son of the late Silverio Peña and Concepcion Robles.
Silverio Jr. was an accountant for Garza and Morales until recently when he became ill.
He is survived by his brothers, Gonzalo and wife, Marina, Roman and Elias Peña; his niece, Georgina and husband, Dele Akanbi; his nephews, Gabriel and wife, Cynthia Peña, Armando and wife, Griseidy Peña, and Jaime Peña; his grandnieces, Nathalia, Andrea, Victoria, Camrynn and Isabella Peña; and his grandnephew, Isaac Peña.
Viewing will be held today, Wednesday, December 11, 2013 from 3pm to 9pm and Thursday, December 12, 2013 from 10am to 7pm, prior to the funeral service at 7pm at McCaleb Funeral Home Chapel in Weslaco. Cremation will take place on Friday, December 13, 2013.
