Susan Louise Boyce Fuller

Donna- Susan Louise Boyce Fuller, 62, passed away on Friday, November 24, 2023. Susan was born on August 28, 1961, to Miles Wesley and Margaret Blanche (Matthews) Boyce in Weslaco, Texas. Susan was the oldest of four girls. They grew up in Donna, Texas, where Susan excelled in academics. She also played the flute in her high school band. 

After high school, Susan attended Pan American University, earning a Bachelor’s and Master’s in Education. She dedicated her career to educating our children. Susan served in various positions, from administrator teacher to curriculum coordinator to special needs coordinator, for thirty years. Twenty-three years were spent at her alma mater, Donna Independent School District. 

Susan continued to play instruments throughout her life. She was talented and used her gifts to serve the Lord. Susan was the pianist and played the flute for several congregations, most recently, the Trinity Worship Center.

Susan enjoyed traveling with friends. Her favorite vacation place was Las Vegas. Susan and her children visited her sister Martha in London several times. 

Susan was brilliant and fun. She loved to watch comedies like Seinfeld, The Office, and Impractical Jokers. Susan mostly loved to be around her family. 

Susan is preceded in death by her parents, Miles and Margaret Boyce. Her children survive her, Janessa Christine Fuller, Michael Scott Fuller, Matthew Miles Fuller, and Lillian Margaret Fuller; her sisters, Melinda Hernandez (Robert+), Martha Lord (Phillip), and Elizabeth Boyce; grandchildren, Zoey Alice Fuller and Violet Handy; nieces, Victoria Lee Hernandez, River Lord, and Juliet Lord, and nephew James Lord. 

Visitation will be on Saturday, December 2nd, at 1 pm, followed by a Celebration of Life from 3-4 pm.
