He was born in General Teran, Nuevo Leon April 4, 1927, to Teodoro Garcia and Eufemia Hernandez Garcia. He served in the Mexican Military Secretaria de La Defencia in 1946. While in the military, he met the love of his life, Aurora Cantu, in La Hacienda de San Pedro at the age of 27 and she was only 18. They married shortly thereafter and started their family. They would have been married for 64 years on April 27th. Teodoro worked faithfully for forty years at Fisher Pipeline in Donna, Texas, where he would retire. During his service to Fisher Pipleline, he found time to migrate his family, they would learn the true value of hard work, and a strong work ethic. As he and his wife raised eight very successful children; they were also very faithful to their church San Martin de Porres. During the holiday season one of his many joys was assisting his wife in making tamales for the family. He was a reserved man with many talents, always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. He was the pillar of strength for his family and will be truly missed.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Teodoro Garcia and Eufemia Hernandez Garcia, his brothers, Santos Garcia, Agustin Garcia, Filogonio Garcia, Juan Garcia and his sisters, Maria Degollado, Matilde Beltran, and Manuela Garcia.
