Teodoro Lopez

Teodoro Lopez, 58, passed away June 11th, 2022 with his family by his side in Edinburg Tx.

He was born December 18th, 1963 in Rio Bravo, Mexico, the fourth born of seven children to Maria J. Carreon and Benito Lopez. At a young age, Teodoro immigrated to Weslaco, Texas. He then attended Weslaco High School, where he excelled in sports like basketball, football, and track, and where he met the love of his life, Leticia Lopez. They solidified their love by marriage, started a new life in Dallas, Texas, and went on to have four beautiful children.

Teodoro was a loving son, brother, husband, and father. Most of all, he was a very loving grandfather to all of his grandchildren. He will always be remembered by his loved ones for the stoic, authentic, and loving being that he was and forever will be. He is preceded in death by his father, Benito Lopez, his wife, Leticia R. Lopez, his father-in-law, Jesus Ramirez, and his brother-in-law, Ricardo Palomo. He is survived by his sons Michael Lopez and Anthony Lopez; his daughters Zenia Lopez and Hannah Lopez; grandchildren, Natalie Hernandez, Madalyn Lopez, Nathen Lopez, Sofia Hernandez, Madison Lopez, Michael Lopez, Brandon Lopez, Zoey Lopez, Sebastian Hernandez, Melany Lopez, and Elijah Rivera Lopez; his siblings, Leonor Lopez, Isabel Lopez, Benito Lopez, Gilberto Lopez, George Lopez, Jose A. Lopez, Javier Lopez; his sisters-in-law, Maritza Ramirez, Teresa Ramirez, and Zenia Lopez; his brothers-in-law, Omar Ramirez and Jesus Ramirez Jr; his nephews and nieces; his mother in law, Teresa Ramirez; and his Mother Maria J. Carreon.
