Valentin Urenda

WESLACO - Valentin Urenda, 61, passed away peacefully at his residence on July 2, 2014. He was born in Nayarit, Mexico and moved to Weslaco 42 years ago. He was a mechanic by trade, loved spending time with his family and enjoyed playing softball. He is survived by his sisters Maria Flores, Cirila Lopez, Irene Lopez, Manuela Urenda, Hortencia Urenda, Rosa H. Urenda and Concepcion Urenda, his best friend & cousin Ysidro (Juanita) Valenzuela and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father Santos Urenda and his mother Felix Villafuentes. Pallbearers will be Roel Carreon, Eddie Arevalo, Jose Herrera, Joey Herrera, Juan Herrera, Francisco "Paco" Ortiz and honorary pallbearer Ysidro Valenzuela.
