WESLACO - Victoriano Gomez, 88, entered into his eternal resting place Thursday, September 10, 2015 at . He was born March 23, 1927 in Havana, TX. He is survived by his loving wife, Maria, of nearly 50 years, four Daughters, Alicia Ramirez (Aaron), Margie Gomez, Reyna Gomez, Aurora Smith(Jonathon); Six Sons, Alex Gomez (Mari), Miguel Gomez, Victoriano Gomez, Jr.(Claudia), Antonio Gomez (Reyna), Marcos Gomez, and Luis Gomez (Donna), grandchildren, Aaron Ramirez Jr., Gabriel Ramirez, Jasmin Gomez, Diego Gomez, Ariel Gomez, Dulce Gomez, Victor Ernie Gomez, Miguel Gomez Jr., Dakota Colley, Robert Colley, Melanie Gomez, Nyla Gomez, Justin Gomez, Tyler Gomez, Billy Gomez, Frankie Gomez, Victoria Platz and Megan Gomez, Alexis Gomez and Esmer Ramirez.

Victoriano was an entrepreneur. He raised his children earning money with his landscaping business. No doubt, he did what he loved. Gardening and landscaping was his passion and livelihood. He did enjoy ranching as well, especially agriculture. He loved anything to do with growing plants, food, or the outdoors.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 13th from 4-9pm at McCaleb Funeral Home, with a rosary at 7pm. Funeral mass will be held San Martin de Porres, September 14th at 10am in Weslaco . Interment will follow at Sacred Park Cemetery in Mercedes.

Arrangements are under the direction of McCaleb Funeral Home of Weslaco.
